I am originally from Southern California, and I have always enjoyed learning languages, nerding out over grammar, and meeting people from other cultures. These passions led me to pursue a bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Later I earned a master's degree in TESOL from the top ranked graduate school for education: Columbia University in New York City.
I have been teaching English language learners for over ten years, and in this time, I have taught students from over 50 countries, ranging in levels from beginners to highly advanced. This year, I was even asked to appear on live television in Korea’s leading education channel JEI TV. I currently teach at the University of California, Berkeley, and I am excited to use everything I have learned to help YOU achieve your English goals.
